Ati Tool, Ntune or rivatuner.

The new beta reliability packs are being fussy about unsigned drivers :(

So any programme that isnt them would be grateful :)

as above everest is damn good.

Agreed, and if you use Vista you can have the temps etc displayed on your sidebar by either using the built in sidebar gadget or a 3rd party one which will give you much better configuration.
Use it all the time to display my CPU, GPU temps, clock speeds, and Fan speeds.

Problem is, the temps in everest/vista x64 combo are about as accurate as navigating with a divining rod.

My CPU temps can read anywhere from 19ºc to 120ºc on idle for instance.

XP and vista x32 work fine :(

Using everest at mo, on vista 64, and havent had any probs like yours paradigm... says cpu is around 30 degrees on idle, with cores at around 36 on idle... seems stable enough to me... what build are you using? Im using a beta version 4.00.1053 ;)
