A GRAW moan....

A moaned a while back about connection problems with this game but its been ok recently for me and I've been getting back into it.

The main problem I find is people hosting a game with too many people that their connection can actually handle, especially with voice communication enabled.

Also find muting the headset before the game starts and not doing anything until the 10 second timer runs down at the start helps as well.

Anyway, my new moan is with ranked matches.

Thought I'd try and get my rank up and its pretty tricky. Why?

Somebody sets up an ranked match lobby. They can't invite their mates into it but mates can easily fint it via the rank game search. The game is then set to solo to get people into the game and then at the last minute the host changes the game to team elimination, adjusts the teams so their mates are all together. So you then get a team of high ranked against a load of noobs like myself. They will also always play as the blue team everytime as I find its normally always the best spawn area on certain maps, which again, its always the same highly biased blue team map.

Anyone else find this the case?

Have never played a ranked match so cant comment. Every multiplayer game Ive played has been with the guys from here, 99% of which Krono hosts. A lot more fun when you know people will work together and are all just up for a good game.

Obviously this involves having to play when everyone else is but the times we used to play (Havent played anything in a while really) suited me down to the ground.

I never get bloody invited! From what I've played it's excellent in multiplayer too.

No one seems to have bothered since Krono has been away having his sex change op. I may have to fire it up and start hosting some. Krono was such a gamerscore whore for the 1000 hosts no one really got into the swing of hosting there own.

I have just started playing this again and it awesome.

I am currently trying to complete the 4 co op mission over Live with my mate.

You get achivment points for completing them so may aswell do them.

Levels are fairly hard though

any of you lads want to help me out ?

Have to say i get no lag and i mainly host, i have the Ntl 10Mb connection.

Ah that's what it is ... thought he and Miss K were moving ... so it's not just his internet that's had the snip!

Krono's connection did seem to be a lot more reliable than normal ADSL ... but if anyone else does want to host we should get the games going regularly again.

Damn I thought we all knew what was really happening. No Miss K doesnt really exist, he's been faking that gamertag in advance for the return from his operation.
