Another picture that my revisiting of old Holidays has turned up, I'm really please with how this one catches the feeling of the cold fog that can hang over the bay even on an August morning like this. Let me know what you think all comments both good and bad welcome.

I like it but I can't help but think there could be more to it... Can't quite put my finger on it but I guess if it was me I'd try a bunch of other PP options which you might have tried already?

I guess the first thing I'd try is a wider panoramic crop if that's an option? Hard to do if that's the original shot but if you've cropped it here then you could try something different.

Colours have never been a strong point for my eyes but it looks like it's still colour but quite desaturated? I guess I might try a B&W version too or maybe two with low/high contrast.

Overall it seems like a nice shot but just feels a bit too tight in for me.

Thanks for the feedback, the original was ever so slightly wider but nothing significant I've never been a fan of panoramic shots but I will have a play! Colour wise it's tricky San francisco can look pretty grey lots of modern buildings and often terrible weather! I have played with the contrast but if I make it much punchier it looses the misty feel!

It is funny looking back and working with photo's I took so long ago I see so much I would do differently now and trying to put a book together I'm finding I'm missing a lot of the story telling and detail shots I take on a trip now!
