Just so you know the above kit was so popular that we have sold 35,000 of those kits to the UK market when it originally appeared on OcUK back in August 2006 and whats even more impressive is out of those 35,000 kits only 400 have come back. That might sound like a lot but its sub 2% which is the lowest percentage return rate of any memory we sell and was a major reason why GeIL is so popular. Times changed, they moved away from retail type memory and focused mainly on system integrator only and they also started working with a UK distributor which meant prices went up, so for numerous reasons basically.

Now we see them with a good emerging range again and their pricing will be top notch and their reliability has never been questioned. :)
 
I have 2x2GB of their 2000 MHz DDR3 in my machine. I've been looking for another 4GB. (It's available elsewhere, but I take offence at £7-10 shipping charges on two sticks of RAM!) Will you be getting the same chips back in stock, or something roughly equivalent?

EDIT: Actually, I think it's 2133 MHz that I have (model number starts with GU34GB2133). I'd like the new stuff to be in the 2000-2200 MHz range. :)

perfect timing soon to be doing a rebuild and in my previous builds I have always used Geil :D
 
Not bad prices.
Any idea how the DDR3 Value ram overclocks? At that price range its against the XMS3, and in some places the Dominator PC-12800 - both of which are very solid overclockers!

More than a match for XMS3. :)

But the other GeIL lines were getting will compete with Dominator and above. :)
 
I can whole heartedly recommend the DDR2 Ultra Low Latency. It's rock solid, I had some for ages with my Core 2 setup. I replaced it with Kingston and I really shouldn't have, the Geil was better.

Good to see them back.
 
giel is always my first choice in ram :D Was a shame when they moved away, so glad its back now! I rememeber that amazing blue heatspreader value ram, cracking company, and those prices seem nice too.
 
I bought some of the Geil DDR2 with the orange heat spreaders years ago on here and still going strong in parents PC :)
 
nice to see them back, i have fond memories of both there ULL & Black Dragon series ram.
 
Very nice to see Geil back. I too have some of the orange DDR modules and they are still going strong, have been on 3 systems as hand me downs to relations.
