A humble request...

Hey,

I think this is bordering on illegality, so please close this thread if so!

I have lost the Dantz Retrospect backup software disc which came with a Maxtor OneTouch external HDD. I really need this to setup automatic backing up again on a new PC. Managed to salvage the CD key from the old machine, but I can't install the program. Tried contacting Dantz, but they are now owned by EMC and weren't very helpful

Just wondering if anyone has a disc they can somehow get to me? I'm NOT asking for a CD key, just an ISO or something of the disc itself...

I've got about 60 of these discs hanging about.

Burnsy, I'm on the old PC now and in the "About" dialogue box it says:

Retrospect Express Backup
OEM Express
Version 6.0.222, OEM Edition

Is this a Maxtor specific version or something? Because I had it setup so that the OneTouch button did a backup of certain folders... can't remember how I set it up though!

Hey,

Those files just update the older Retrospect 6.0 to the newer Retrospect HD I think.. still need the original CD to install the old software
