yeah there are anticoagulants like warfarin and rivaroxaban that people take for that

talk to your GP/consultant (you'll have to anyway to get a prescription) and don't stop taking any medications without talking to them first too.

edit - a pharmacist won't be able to switch him onto those, he needs to speak to a doctor(ideally a cardiologist if not his GP int he first instance) - especially as asprin is not recommended for afib any more AFAIK

Ask yourself, would you rather die from side effects of a disease, or be concerned regarding ine thing you read on the internet, and were unable to link for others to read?
