A kinky problem!

No, it's not what you were thinking

I've been using my Logitech G5 gaming mouse for a while now and I love it! Apart from the fact that because of the way the USB lead was packaged it's got loads of kinks in. I thought they'd straighten out over time but they haven’t. They keep getting caught up in stuff on my desk and it's annoying. Anyone got any remedies to straighten my kinky problem?

mine has no kinks. but it has frayed on the edge of a desk. tbh its a stupid idea having a braided cable. good mouse tho

I got a few kinks in mine but it dosnt get in my way

I thought the braid was a cool idea tho lol - makes a change.

Hi there AWBbox, i got a G5 mouse for Christmas & got rid of the worst of the cable kinks as follows:

Place the mouse on top of a wardrobe or similar with enough hight to allow the cable to hang freely without touching the floor. Hold the mouse in position by placing a book over the cable close to the mouse itself. Next fix a small ammount of weight, i used a new roll of insulating tape, to the connector end & leave it there overnight for a couple of nights.
