Hi, I wondered if you could give me some advice on a laptop, it's basically just for uni purposes, juts for microsoft office and to use for the internet.

I am not looking to spend a lot, (400-450) and wondered if it mattered what chip to get.

Juts looking at a sempron or celeron chip. nothing fancy, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

You can get quite a lot of laptop for £450, beter than celeron/semperon. i got a Dell core duo, 512mb ram, 80gig HD, DVDRW and everything else i needed. Im sure you could get a new celeron for around £300 which would do office/browsing.

Should be able to get a nice cele M in your budget.

It isn't actually a bad chip at all.

The sempron is also a decent mobile chip if all you want to do if general office work.
