lol at how worked up some people are getting. Personally i did a BTEC
You could say that, but if you dont get the grades you need you cant get into uni or the one you want to go to, so really they could determine what we get into for the rest of our lives...I am expecting them tomorrow too

So you slate people who did/do A-levels yet you did a BTEC?
Wow you fail at life.

A btec is easier but more often or not there in totally different areas than A levels so he hardly fails at life, you can't do an A level in woodwork etc
No, i simply presumed from all the media they were getting easier and easier. Same probably applies for BTEC courses.
I got what i wanted from the btec and uni, have a job and am enjoying life at the moment in general. Though you are open to think what you want as i am

But he's slating for example an A-level in higher maths or Physics whilst he's in 5 hours a week doing some BTEC course...
Why act like Mr nice guy after making such ridiculous comments? I'm happy you're enjoying life, but to say something like A-levels are easy (something that you have no experience of) is nothing more than ignorant and arrogant and trust me, those are not nice traits to have in your personality.
Cue the endlessly nauseating, yearly ritual cries of ‘best year ever’ ever followed by assorted claims (invariably by some jobsworth bureaucratic socialist type) that it’s “down to the students working harder” and not because the exams have become completely facile...
Let's not forget though, these days students have the internet and all that modern technology offers to help with their studies. We didn't have that back when I, and the older members here, were studying for our A-Levels.
They honestly don't.
Once you're in to a uni no one could care less about A-Levels and/or GCSE's other than the fact you have Maths and English at C or higher @ GCSE.
In fact the majority of jobs won't even care what grade you get from your degree, more the fact that you have one.
Though i'm just getting my AS results, i found AS's easier going than GCSE's but that's due to my secondary school.
