Yep, it's one of these threads again!

So tomorrow is the 20th, meaning I, and probably a fair few others on this forum will be up early worrying about our results and the power they hold over the rest of our lives!

So I just thought I'd post this up to see who else is expecting results, and hopefully to calm my nerves somehow!

I've got my results tomorrow too, I'm not really worried though, I've barely thought about them.
You should be thinking about what you're going to be doing this weekend!

I'm sure that in 10 years or however long I will look back and laugh, but I'm pretty anxious right now! It's going to be a long night!

They honestly don't.

Once you're in to a uni no one could care less about A-Levels and/or GCSE's other than the fact you have Maths and English at C or higher @ GCSE.

In fact the majority of jobs won't even care what grade you get from your degree, more the fact that you have one.

Still though, good luck :)

I haven't thought about my results for one second, it's the holidays now and my results are going to be there forever so I don't see why I should waste my time off :)

hehehe, A-levels.

look guys, as long as you get into the Uni course you wanted, A-levels don't mean squat.

good luck for your Uni choices though!

Wouldn't worry about it.

With the credit crunch, good marks give you the option of being unemployed with the 2.something million people or going to uni, racking up 25k of debt THEN joing the 2.something million unemployed people.

A Levels are easy.

:D

Your mum is easy :p

A levels. maybe its exactly what it says on the tin now. i.e. everyone get an A level grade

I bet i could even get an A now!

Hooray, the whining has started before the results have even come out this year \o/

Good luck for those expecting results tommorrow :)

Depends if you want to take your chances with a Grad scheme really.

Yup, getting my AS level results tomorrow, and I feel somewhat guilty having done no work at all this summer, despite the fact i'm sposed to have been doing 4.5 hours a week on my extended project :/

You are amazing. Why are you even on these forums? Shouldn't you be making loads of money somewhere in a big company with your intelligence?

For those saying it doesn't matter, I can say for sure it does for some jobs.

ACA performance is more closely correlated with A-level performance than degree classification.

Anyways, good luck :) I remember how nervous I was, did not open the envelope for a long time, and my favourite teacher just came over and said congratulations on *enter my results here*. :)

thankyou, mainly for the hi-fi forum and to get a few answers to questions. I prefer small company big money

Good luck with your a level results.

But seriously, with all the stuff in the media about them becoming easier and easier every year, wont people find it harder and harder on uni courses or any other further education. If further education is made easier then wont it impact on jobs people get after?

Good luck guys! I remember how nervous I was. Went out to the pub the night before with mates and was the quietest night ever, no one spoke because we were all nervous about the impending doom! Thinking about it now, I just laugh at how nervous I was. Going into my 3rd year of my degree, how time flies!
