You weren't far off moving up a grade boundary in all three cases, so I'd retake your worst module from each subject, and make a bit more of an effort with the A2 modules, and you should come out the end of it with BDB as you were expecting.

yeah thats what im doing.

and how likely is there to be an error in my exam marks? here in my paper it says i got a 34 for electrons and photons which is a U. i sware i done best in that...

Any of you going to my old haunt of Loughborough?

I graduated from Loughborough this summer. It feels odd that at this time of year I'm not getting ready to move back for another year... I miss it.

Maths Times two?!

Straight A's, setting yourself up for a good second year there. Don't get complacent though.
I finished last year with AAC
got BBC at A-level

Further maths, we end up with 2 A levels. Hmm, end up with two, that means I only have one now :o :) oops.

Good advice. I've got to work harder this year, 4 subjects, not many frees. Plus driving lessons and such.

I was in Harry French in my first year (2002-2003) and the buildings then were supposedly about 10 years old so I'm guessing it maybe wasn't there when you were at Uni.

However, there were some older buildings that might have been in use earlier. It was on the left side of Ashby road as you were walking from the University into the town centre, about 200 yards after the roundabout.

In my 2nd and third years I was in house we rented from a private landlord.

I knew a few people in towers and actually quite liked the feeling of community over there, much stronger than in my halls. I think actually being properly on campus and being catered helped.

Got mine today aswell...

Chemistry - 496/500 (A)
General Studies - 488/600 (A)
Biology - 481/600 (A)
Maths - 457/600 (B)

Did way better than expected, especially in maths, which I thought I did extremely badly on! Though my A's could so easily have been B's. Pah, must be the generosity of the examiners nowadays, combined with the easy exams(!)

I don't agree that the exams are easy, I found them hard that's for sure!
Very impressive results though del_piero :D
What Uni you applied for/got in to... If any?

Lol, it was a little jokey for all the 'elder statesmen' who hark on about exams being too easy. I found them difficult for sure. The only reason I did so well this year is because I did so badly in my AS exams last year. I got CCDD last year, and that, along with a few stern words from my parents, gave me the drive to work my ass off and achieve these results, although I am surprised at how well I ended up doing. I expected to get all B's at best.

The plan before getting my AS's was to do medicine, but having cocked those exams up, there was no chance a med school would look at my application. So, I'm doing Biology at Manchester. I'm cheesed off now, because with my results, I could have done a better course at a better uni, eg Imperial, through clearing, but as I acheived my first choice offer, I was uneligible to go through clearing, but that said, I love Manchester Uni to bits! It's a 3 year course, and as I'm looking to do a post grad medicine degree after, I'm looking at being at uni for 7 years!!

Hmm no......It's all firewalled, slower than 1mb at peak time plus you can't play any online FPS games, filesharing and amoungst other quirky things.

Been in private halls, I get 4mb Connection with ftp space, able to games online and something else which i forgot :/

I didn't do any A Levels as I'm 20 but I did make a webiste for my girl friend's course work and she got 120 out of 120 for it :D

Also all you lot going on about your net connections, my work has the best one, fibre line direct to bt tower :p
