Hi,

I made a thread about this a few days ago but no replies :P But now I really need to make an decision...

Done my AS levels (only 2, naivley dropped 1 at the start of the year) failed one, did okay in the other.

Now that really doesn't look good but.. there's reasons: 2 subjects = a lot of free time - I ususally went home to play WoW - something im gonna quit. Also a lot of friends left after gcses and more have left recently so I was really bored... and other people there? imo they're generally weird

So now, I could either go back... or go to a 6th form college which sounds great (its a nice place) BUT it would be another 2 years (i'd have to repeat a year that ive already done) and i'd be with the year 11's moving up.. (although I think im the youngest in my year atm) AND it would be 4 AS/A levels

Looking back at my short life I have always made bad decisions and I know if I didn't go to this college id regret it but if I do... i can see myself quitting after 2 weeks...

Any advice?

cheers

Thanks to Nix and others for the advice.

I re-took my as year at a new college last year, and am now happily moving into my a2 year at the same one.

Although it was a real shock to the system, after failing miserably the first year, perseverance brought me through it with grades b c c (I also hope to retake two modules - easily bringing me up to a b c)

The first month or so is the toughest what with parties etc, I'm not saying don't go to them, just make sure you've done all the work necessary beforehand :p

A new group of friends more inclined to work helped me no-end too :D But Christ can they drink! So it's not all bad!

Did you find the age thing weird? like being with people a year younger?

I'm still totally undecided and ive pretty much gotta decide by tomorow  but I might have to this college if im not allowed to continue the subject in which I got a U in. 2 years though, damn =/
