A little advice needed

Hiya,

After being with Bulldog 2mb service I left them searching for higher speeds. I signed up with Eclipse but they are shocking, I get terrible speeds at all times. Looking at my details on Samknows.com I can see myexchange is LLU enabled for Bulldog, I've signed back up with these so would you expect good speeds.

Sorry I'm a bit of a n00b with all this, what is LLU exactly?
 
Local Loop Unbundling (Bulldog put equipment in the exchange as opposed to BT). Bulldog have an OK rep for speed but the CS (as with most ISP's sadly) seems to be the weak point. if you are able to get an ADSL2 product you are unlikley to get 24mbit unless you are on top of the exchange but within a reasonable distance you will get a good connection.
