Considering getting an 8800GTS, 512MB, G92 architecture, however I am rather unsure which one to get.

Currently looking at:

- EVGA 8800GTS

- BFG 8800GTS

I know they're almost both exactly the same, however the EVGA comes with the 90-day step up programme, and the BFG has slightly higher core and shader clock speeds. Any advice on which one I should get?

Also... as much of an nVidia fanboy I am, should I consider an ATi? Or is that being stupid? :P

Budget is ~£200

Just get whatever is the cheapest, the step up program is a rip off anyways. You can clock the EVGA to BFG speeds anyway.

Nvidia have the better cards at the moment so get an 8800GTS.

Yeah, i know someone who has massive problems with EVGA RMA but as stated, just get the cheapest really and ramp up the clocks, then sell it when something better comes out
