hi all,
been a long time since I posted last but always return when I need some guidance.
I currently have 16GB Team Group - see description from Overclockers below. this is paired with a i7 8700K and Z370 Gigabyte Mobo.
3000MHz RAM Speed, CAS 15-15-15-35 Timings, 1.30-1.35v VDIMM, Lifetime Warranty with OcUK.
I have just picked up a 12600k and Z690 Gigabyte Gaming X DDR4 mobo on a couple of good deals. I also have a 3080 FE as my GPU.
The RAM is good, but I am considering purchasing 16 or 32GB of 3600. I can off set some of the cost by selling the old pair, but on the whole would there be any benefit buying the faster RAM and getting more of it?
cheers in advance.
