A little bit of help determining what i need to upgrade?

So ill start by saying basically, the PS4 event yesterday scared me, i just want to make sure my rig is going to be able to play games of that quality at a smooth 30-60fps

I just ran the latest 3D mark and i seemed to get 30-60fps and more on each test apart from the physics tests which ran at an awful 10-15fps

Here are my Specs:
MB: MSI-7599
CPU: Phenom II X4 955
RAM: 8 Gb corsair vengeance 1600+
GPU: Nvidia GTX 570

Im not a hardware nut just an enthusiastic PC gamer and digital artist, i just want to know my rig is up to par with next gen consoles and will be capable of running everything smoothly, I would like to know if anyone could help me determine what i would need to upgrade or if im running anything incorrectly to get such awful physics test performance.

thanks for all the replies, so i guess it just all needs to be upgraded, there isnt one component i could upgrade to get better fps from physics tests?

That PS4 'unveiling' was quite impressive.

How much VRAM has your 570 got?

Depedning on budget the GPU's you should look at are: 7950/7970, 7850, GTX 660ti, GTX 670.
