A little Driver Sweeper help (Nvidia).

Hey :)

So I need a little help installing new video drivers. I have a new version of DriverSweeper installed. And I think I understand that you have to uninstall (clean) the older drivers with Driver Sweeper, restart the computer in safe mode, clean again, restart the computer properly then install the new drivers. But when I open Driver Sweeper I see this:

Nvidia Chipset
Nvidia Display
Nvidia PhysX

Which of those do I need to 'clean'?

And please correct me if my descriptions on cleaning/installing drivers is wrong, so I know how to do it properly :)

please bare in mind, my GPU is already giving me trouble and I'm not sure if it's because of any damaged sustained when I installed it, or because of dodgy drivers but games and videos are giving me problems, so I need a clean install of the latest drivers to be sure what the problem is.

Thanks for any help :)

Nvidia display and nvidia physx.
DO NOT clean the Nvidia chipset drivers as these are the motherboard drivers and u would have to reinstall all of these again which is a pain.
As for the method i normally uninstall the drivers normally using ccleaner app uninstalling the the actual display driver last, then boot into safe mode and run driversweeper, then reboot into windows normally and install the new drivers using the custom or advanced (forget what it's called) option and just install the physx and the actual driver parts not the HD audio or 3D vision or the updater, also check the clean install check box at the bottom.

You can leave physx as some games require it to run. I uninstalled physx and MOH would't run until i reinstalled. That was with my 6970 aswell

What i meant is uninstall both display and physx and reinstall them both again with the new driver.

i never use drive sweeper seems to cause more problems than not using it,when i update my gpu drivers i simply install on top of the old ones,i don't uninstall the old ones first, always worked fine for me this way..
