I bought the Acer CG437KP in Jan and I know its has a couple of cons but Ive been pleased with it overall.
With it, you get 4 RGB strips to stick on the rear and through RGB light sense you can set it to reflect the colour of the screen edge to the wall behind giving a much cooler than expected effect. Upon playing with it I selected the star setting which has effectively borked it and now its stuck on a setting that doesnt work or light up the strips. Tried everything but this is a problem Im expected to ship back to Acer just to update firmware on it which just isnt going to happen.
Given my problem, is there another way I can do this? Can I get strips and a controller which will still reflect whats on the screen onto the wall behind?
Honestly didnt think I would like the effect as much as I did so any help here would be great.
