a little help please, no sound via hdmi cable

connected hdmi from dell xps m153o to sony bravo 40 inch lcd. perfect picture quality but the sound is still coming from my laptop, how do i chande the settings for sound to come out of the tv?

if its like mine mate i have a hdmi port on the back of my radeon 2600xt

to get sound aswell i had to go into the sound properties and change the sound being used from soundblaster (my pc soundcard) to ati hd sound which is for the hdmi


i would think you need to do the same
