ok so im looking for a small form factor system similar to what ive spec'd below. IVe put it in GH because i have a few more general questions about it

1 - do you recomend i get a better CPU cooler

2 - is the motherboard a bit over kill if im not going to do much OC'ing

3- i have a xp 32 licence is it worth going to the vista ive speced below

4 - am i right going with radeon ive heard they have a had a few driver issues.

5 - would it be worth me getting a modular PSU so i dont have to many cables running around the little case and is the PSU suitable.

ok questions over . I will be using a dvd drive from my current spec as well as anouth hard drive to serve as a bk up. Thank you for any halp you can give me, it been a while since ive done a spec.

ditch the "guaranteed clock" cpu, they're a waste of time over buying the normal one.

vista 64bit would let you use all of your RAM, 32bit XP won't

that card is the best card for the money out.

having a modular psu is up to you, if i was speccing a build, though, I wouldn;t have chosen a 400W psu for that card, a Q6600 2 HDDs and an optical drive.

cooler's up to you, I'm not sure how much space would be in that case, but the stock cooler should be okay for 3ghz, there might be quieter (and cooler running) alternatives. you'd have to get case dimensions.

In relation to point 4. my 4870 won't give a DVI signal to my Dell TFT (I'm currently using a DVI to VGA adapter). This is a definitely a driver issue without a fix to date - I'm not sure how widespread this problem is, but one to keep in mind.
