Hi

Just brought a Gigabyte GA-Z77x-u3dh motherboard and am looking for memory. Was all set with what to buy until I see a compatability thing on Gigabytes web site. I want 32gb quad channel, pref under £150 but not the cheapest (unless its the best)
I won't be overclocking the i5 3570k, going to be running windows 8 pro and Hyper V for some virtual stuff I am working on.
Looking for a cheapish but got to be quiet.

thanks if you can help here

And FYI the RAM won't be working in quad channel.

Processors for that motherboard have a dual channel memory controller so with 4 sticks of RAM you'll have 2 pairs each working in dual channel.

Many thanks for the help.
The quad / dual channel issue isn't a major concern (although didn't know until you told me)
Currently running a q6600 8gb memory , 1tb hard disk HP dc5800 work station and a radeon 6450. Pretty sure the new board, i5 3570k, 32g memory, msata on board and a couple of 2tb sata's and a new video card of some description will help speed things up a little to what i have now. Just hoping that 24" touch screens start to flood the market next.

Thanks again

Nick
