a little help

Just joined oc uk because looking to do my first ever up grade. Could any one help me to choose the hardware .I need mobo,memory,cpu,grathics card.looking at spending£500 all in.Are there any bundles looking at?. want to be able to play cyrsis well . Take it easy on me i am just learning. :confused:

Dont worry we all start learning somewhere, was there anything in particular you was looking at? and are you going to be overclocking?

I been looking for a while know but there are so many different makes about thats why i was thinking of going for a bundle plus gfx card .been looking at the geforce en8800gts ?what you think?????

ive got a 8800GT myself and its great, didnt have the cash for a GTS when i got it. take it you dont need a case, harddrive, DVD drive or PSU then?

I would look into something like that, pretty solid for the money and plenty of extra power if you overclocked the cpu. Dont forget if your Hard drive is old and cd they may have IDE cables which arent too common on new motherboards

thanks very much looks great . both my hard drives are sata but dvd is ide but not a problem they dont cost the earth. cheers stu
