Some of you may have heard of Jonny Lee's head tracking for VR displays etc using a wii remote, or as he said any 2 sources of IR light and a receiver. In the next couple of days to complete my 3d setup my nvidia 3d vision glasses will arrive.
The idea ive had is that the nvidia glasses have 1 ir light on the left hand side of the glasses built in to communicate with the receiver. Surely then it is possible to perform both the 3d effect. with the added bonus of head tracking by adding a 2nd ir light on the right hand side manually, and running lee's head tracking software via the glasses.
What do you guys think?
