A little photoshop help please

Hi all,

A moto-x club i am in are making a new logo for their club/site.

I was wondering if any chaps here could give it a go, as the best they a have so far is this.......

Im sure that 3 or 4 minutes with you guys could make something a little more modern, as i find that one a little crap

EDIT: Any chance you can make the text a little easier to read? Looks a really nice font, just a tad small.

I sent them the black ones above and they said very nice and modern, just too dark to see when they are on bikes or newsletters etc.

I think they would want some colour really.

So where exactly is it being used?

It will be the Logo so will be used in quite a few places.

The ones i know off the top of my head are:

On a badge that goes on the trophies
On newsletters
Probably on stickers, so people slap em on their bike
On the championship brochure front page
