A little Photshop help?

I want to use an image for a design on a t-shirt, its just that I need an irregular shape from a normal shaped image, that's pretty easy right? Any tips would be welcome, I'm playing around with the wand at the minute, I can't seem to select the entire shape, its always bits.

It might be easier to see what you mean if you post the image in question. Have you tried using the magnetic lasso tool or the polygon lasso tool?

Ooh that's better, how do I save that as an irregular shaped image?

Copy and paste it into a new image, and delete the background layer. That should make the background transparent.
