A little stumped

Having a little trouble with my 4850, got latest drivers installed and everything.

The problem is that i get a strange blur in last remnant and the cinematic bits of crysis, however in gameplay on crysis it is fine. Most other games are fine too, fear 2, cod w@w, css, DOW2 all normal, just these 2 instances.

I've run furmark on it to see if it would bring it out but doesn't. I'm stumped.

any ideas as to why?

can you provide a screenshot of this 'blur'? or at least describe it in more detail.

The "blur" sounds normal to those games, screenshots would help however .

well it basically looks like someones drawn a line across the screen and then blurred everything in it. I'll set about obtaining screenshots now.

*edit* having difficulties with the screenies, using fraps to take them and it's not showing them, and my mobile just doesn't have a good enough camera, nor am i quick enough to catch them. i'll post them up when i do get some, i'll find a way.
