A little upgrade.

Was thinking about upgrading a little..

- 2GB to help out with Vista and Gaming, to make 4GB total.
£49.34 GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400C4 800mhz

- CPU fan, atm it gets over 65c underload @ 3ghz.
£??.??

- I'm also looking for stuff to clean and polish CPU so I can apply some AS5.

EVGA 680i
e6600 (stock cooler)
2 GB Geil PC6400 PC6400C4 800mhz
BFG 8800GTX

fine if you are using a 64bit OS. Otherwise, only 3.2Gb (approx) is seen by the system.

You can buy TIM cleanner but a bit of denatured alcohol or nail varnish does the trick nicely.

The Akasa Citrus Solvent stuff rocks. Cost effective cooler - Arctic Freezer Pro. Ram as stated.

You'll deffo see some better temps with a good cooler, tuniq 120/thermalright ultra 120.

or improvise with some rubbing alcahol/surgical spirit which you can get from your local chemist.

@ Huddy.. 64bit yes and stock cooler.

Thx for tips guys, but the cleaners seem cheap enough, but which one...

lol, I was almost sure i had stock cooler... just looked and I ain't, I got Artic Freezer Pro 7. Thought it was stock cooler because it hardly ever goes below 60c.
