A little webspace ?

Hi

I am always taking pictures. Need somewhere to host them online, i have a uploadit account but hate using it with a complete passion. Too many restrictions like size, file names, types etc. So figure a small bit of space with FTP access would be my best bet. Only to host pics, maybe few hundred meg tops with low traffic. Maybe even someone on here could allocate me a little space with ftp access & restrictions?

Or, who can i buy it from.

Ive just signed up with the business package with free upgrade to the business pro.
They have a free starter package which has 2.5gb storage and 100meg per month transfer.
that should be enough to suit your storage requirements

I just want some space with easy simple FTP. None this web based upload accounts like uploadit etc. Hmm

Would you need HTTP access to your FTP folder? So the images can be accessed with HTTP aswell as FTP.

Im happy enough with the simple method of using smartFTP to transfer the images over. I really dont need or even want a web front to it

You're probably best off buying some webhosting. £20/year is all it needs to cost.

I could speak to my boss, see if he can do some special FTP only storage for you at a lower price, if you would like?

Edit: He says he can and was wondering what bandwidth/space usage would be looking at

Literally lad, it would be enough to host a load of pics, not dodgy ones either. No real flow or traffic. With FTP access i can manage it myself easily, remove old files etc. few hundred mb. Im not sure on a actual figure for traffic but its not like im posting worldwide. Would only be on a few car forums etc, most pics been car related.
