Does anyone know of any timber suppliers that will plane all sides of the timber for you and deliver?. It has to be Walnut and preferably the darker American walnut variety and id need it to be around 220mm wide and 20mm thick if possible. Ive emailed John Body's and another place for quotes but just wondered if anyone knows of any more company's i can try as i know JB's is very expensive and would like to get the timber as cheap as possible. The reason Ive put this in CC is because its for a case I'm designing.

Too bad you didn't live closer to me. I've got 10 acres of Poplar and White Oak for a back yard.....

. Hmmmm thats just made me think, with the heat a pc gives out i hope it doesnt split the timber from drying it out too much :eek:

, i might have to rethink this and use veneered ply

. I like oak but you cant beat walnut, especially a nice dark walnut like American walnut, im also going to get a big block some time and make a rifle stock out of it.
