A whistlestop tour of the coast of Wales over a long weekend, starting in Snowdonia, touring down to St Davids, passing through Tenby and then ending up in Brecon before heading home. A lot of driving and some 'variable' weather.
Taking the train up Snowdon was fun. The ascent took 10 minutes longer than planned, as we were stuck behind a sheep and a lamb for a long while (no joke!), and then in 30 minutes at the station three quarters of the way up we experienced pretty much all four seasons. Sun, wind, hail, snow and fog.
Moving down to St Davids we passed through some stunning valleys when exiting Snowdonia. At St Davids we were looking for some of the stunning white beaches only to discover that they've all been washed away by the severity of the recent storms.
From St Davids we moved along the coast to Tenby before staying over near Brecon, the last photo being the view from our room for the evening. Great trip, Wales giving up some glimpses of its stunning scenery.
I traveled light, with just the 24-70 for company.
