When you say 'that actually works', none of these methods are guaranteed, if the electrical connection to the pixel has failed, then the pixel isn't fixable. When the crystal is just stuck though, the above methods can work.
You can always phone Belinea or even use the distance selling regulations. A dead/stuck/lazy pixel/subpixel is more likely to get you a swap out if it's in the centre of the screen. Also, although manufacturers have dead pixel tolerances (usually 5-7 subpixels or one complete pixel for a swap out), that doesn't replace and shouldn't be confused with your legal rights to a screen which is 'free from minor defects and blemishes' as set out in the sale of goods act. If you were to go down that route though, it's the retailer you have the contract with not the manufacturer.
