there hasn't been a big release for pc in bloody ages! most threads in pc forums are just "what u looking forward to" "whats the next big game".

Supreme Commander & C&C 3 were pretty big.

My nvidia 8600 plays quake 4 really well, so it must be better than everything else in existence! In fact it's so impressive that I think I'll do a video about it and put it up on youtube. Everyone'll think I'm fab

This pretty much sums it up. If you removed all the hardware threads from PC and Console forums, the PC forum would have substantially more posts.
