I am going to build a mini itx in a corsair 380t was wondering if a Phanteks PH-TC14CS_RD 88.6 CFM CPU Cooler would work with a msi z97i gaming motherboard without cutting off the ram or gpu.

It won't work. The CPU cooler height is 150mm for the case, the cooler is near 170mm.

I'm pretty sure it'd cut off the pci-e lane of an itx board too. It a tight for on a Matx board too.

The P. Samuel 17 can be a good mini-ITX solution sometimes, if you want more than four heatpipes and something that can hold a 120mm fan. Just add whichever fan you like. Two other cheaper solutions in basket below.

YOUR BASKET
1 x Prolimatech Samuel 17 CPU Cooler £34.99
1 x EVGA ACX mITX CPU cooler, Black - 92 mm £24.95
1 x Raijintek Aidos Direct Contact CPU Cooler - Black £14.99
Total : £74.93 (includes shipping : ).
