After fixing the folder views losing settings bug (for now anyway...) I have uploaded a video of a new bug to document as it is a bit of an odd one to explain, but will provide both description and video to see if anyone else gets this issue!

Description:

When you open say a browser window then open a smaller window in front of it then click the taskbar icon to minimise it Aero will minimise the smaller window in the background behind the larger browser window - basically it is giving focus to the larger window before the smaller window has finished minimising so the animation looks really poop. (read poop as "non existent"

Maximising the same window the same way though does not have the same effect, it maximises with animation in foreground.

Minimising the smaller window using the minimise button on the window itself however results in the expected minimise behaviour.

Video:

If anyone knows how to fix this it would be totally rad :)

winkey + break/pause

advanced/performance settings (not on a vista box right now, but its there somewhere)

disable the crappy animations etc, explorer works a lot faster then

:/ - With min/max anims off yeah it does work faster...by 0.0003seconds hehehe :p edit* but for now they are disabled as this little bug annoys the heck out of me, small things!

The anims do not slow down my workflow/machine either but I can understand that it could be an issue on a pc that gets a Aero score of 4 or something not 5.9 :/

i know it's only a small speed boost, but since it adds zero functionality, why have it :) (when your pc is working really hard you notice the slowdowns a lot more too)

nice pic by the way :)

might as well post this bug in here as well..... if you have an explorer window open and have the bottom showing below another window like this......

if you click on the bottom blue bar, the bit with the specs, the window won't take focus like it should..... :p

Ah it appears your bug only affects the text area not the blue areas on the right! (for me anyway)
