A Miracle or?!

My friend Geoffrey, has been playing games in this hot weather, not tracking his GPU temperatures. Suddenly he is presented with Artifacts and graphic corruption on multiple games. driver updates do nothing.

So he decides to "Flash" his BIOS, and now all is well.

This is after his system has been running perfectly stable for the past 6 months.

Is this a Miracle?

It might just be an intermittent problem. Need to stress test longer to know.

this fashing the bios, I assume it was the gpu bios, maybe he flashed to a lower clocked bios , possibly his had a slight OC. (this is a complete stab in the dark as we dont have enough infomation to go on) maybe not been as hot since ?
maybe aliens came and installed watercooling during the night...?

Maybe the bios got a fright when he flashed it and the card started behaving so it wouldn't be exposed to again.

He flashed his Mobo bios, not GPU.

He just played a game with me fine for about an hour, if i didn't believe in miracles, now i do.
