The SFA and Scottish National Team.

This is how we lined up last night against an average Czech Republic team. Yes, it's a 4-6-0

That really is pretty shocking, I could understand slightly more if it was against a great team but the Czech Republic, while better than Scotland, are definitely decidedly average. Let's see how we do in the upcoming game against Spain though - at the moment anything less than a 2-0 loss provided we play reasonably well is probably ok with me.

It was a complete disgrace, I thought Levein had a bit of tactical nuance about him, it's the sort of tactic you might try if you were 1-0 against superior oponents, but the Czech republic are an ordinary team these days and have been for years. This should have been a game that we should have went after as Lithuania had beaten them easily enough and we need to take a chance if we're going to even finish 2nd in the group.

If this is how he approached this game, then I guess we can expect something like a 8-2-0 against Spain.

To sum it up, can't remember who it was but they picked the ball up on the edge of our box turned to look to play a quick pass forward to start a counter attack and there was literally no one ahead of him.

Disgraceful. Even if we were playing against 1970's Brazil, a formation like that shouldn't be considered. What angers me is not so much that we lost, which is perfectly routine, it's that we didn't even try to win that game.

Bring back Berti Vogts.

Just..lol :p If you didn't know any better you'd think that was a screenshot from someone playing FIFA for the lulz, let alone a proper international.

Why anyone still follows the Scottish team is beyond me, they would struggle against a pub team!

I would bet real money that the league and cup treble winning side I played in 2006/07 would thrash scotland.

I think you would literally have to go to a poor pub side to find a team that couldnt beat them.

I mean the side they beat 1-0 (last month was it) was a side where two players couldnt get the time of work to play against them, and scotland were still pathetic.

I had reasonably high hopes for Levein when he took over, but he's already starting to look out of his depth. He's far, far, far, faaaar to negative. Some of the players give off that "What the **** am I supposed to be doing?!" vibe they had during the Burley era.

I liked Levein but the tactics were indefensible. I actually thought Mackie played quite well in the role he was given but not playing Miller who is in the form of his career was a quite remarkable decision. If we had attacked that Czech team we might well have won. Levein's lack of bravery to attack might well cost us the chance to qualify.
