Hey guy's and girls. To those of you out there who like me, re-build there rigs quite frequently.
If again like me, you are time constrained for your build and do a bit at a time, then leave it for the next available opportunity.
You may or may not of had the horror of accidentaly catching a component of the build with something you should not have, it happened to me with my case. (Opened the door and knocked a lamp and a corner of it put a good 4 inch scratch down the side of my case.) Devastated.
However my new personal solution for this (and hopefully i can help some of you guys avoid having this disaster aswell) is not so much re packing everything once i am finished.
What i have done is taken the box the case arrived in, and cut the four flaps on the top and bottom from it.
What i now do is once finished working on the system, i lift it into the foam on the bottom, wrap the plastic wrap it comes in back over it, and put the other bit of foam on top, then slide the remainder of the box over top, kind of like old school phone socks
as seen below it also leaves you with a nice little area to put things if your tied up for space.
Use spoiler tags if an image is over 1280x wide.
Not entirely sure where this thread belongs so i am putting it in general. Really hope this can help someone.
