Hello.

After a bit of advice please...

I'm going to be getting a new headset soon to replace my PC350's and I have no idea on what to get...

I know I want 5.1, optical through-put and to be wireless.
They will be used for gaming on my pc and watching films etc on the tv.

Any suggestions?

I like the look of the Razer Chimaera 5.1's and the Logitech G930's and then of course Turtle Beach X41's.

Budget is around £150ish. I'm unsure on virtual or true 5.1.
If the Chimaera's allowed me to have optical sound with the mic working that would be amazing, but nooooo, they wont let me.

Thanks,

Adam

I personally wouldn't swap from the 350 as far as a gaming headset for any kind of surround sound shiz

You might be able to find some half decent wireless headphones for music/tv but the last time I looked the choice of wireless headsets was rather poor.

I have the Razer Chimaera 5.1's and absolutely CANNOT recomend them at the moment.

They work fine on the Xbox, but drop out constantly on the PC.

I am (literally) just testing some Triton's on the same sound card with no problems what so ever, they also sound far beefier. Sadly they are ladend with cables, but I would seriosly consider them over the Chimaeras.
