There's. no point protecting 99.9% of files. It's just not needed. And I can't imagine that I would upload something that would require encryption. But if I did, I would encrypt those one or two files.Don't trust anyone to protect your sensitive data. Always encrypt pre-cloud.
hmm got a few docs which i guess would make sense to encrypt, just figured skydrive would be more or less 100% safe.

They need to get peer to peer PC folder sync integrated into SkyDrive, now that they've dumped Live Mesh.
Dropbox actually wrote a guide for using truecrypt to automatically encrypt stuff before sending, although I've never looked at it for skydrive stuff like BoxCryptor works just fine.
