I have to get a monitor on top of this as well.

Is everything compatable and look good or would you change anything?

Cheers

I'd change the memory to 6400 if your going to overclock (like the Geil ones) and get a E6300 allendale proccessor. I'd also get a CPU cooler like the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro CPU

The seagate 7200.10 series hard drives are very fast and quite. As fast as the raptors with 8mb cache.

For the monitor get the Belinea 20" widescreen :D

Just the 19" widescreen Belinea actually :D

Cheers for the advice, that actually works out cheaper.

Is the increase from 5400 to 6400 memory important?

I would suggest a Pioneer 111d over the NEC, own both and find the Pioneer to be the better drive. I have had every model from the 103 up and they have always been great drives.
