Looking to do a new build and in quite a fan of fractal design stuff.

My last case was a define s and tbh it was near perfect for me except the lack of hiding the PSU area which looked messy but meh, no window no problems.

In looking at either 3x fans in the front or a radiator for a CPU closed cooler.
No need for bays of any type.

I see the new meshify but it doesn't look like much of an impressive improvement over the define s.... And it's 50quid more here in Sweden.

Any advice... Doesn't need to be fractal, but whatever.

Oh look what I saw a define S2...

Lol what a Dummy, this is probably what in looking for.

Any other suggestions?

I ended up with the non meshify S2.
Maybe I can buy the front panel later for variation lol.

I must say tho while Im 99 percent happy with this case, working on a aorus z390 ultra board and Noctua nhd15 the front panel usb3 header/ cable is absolutely awful. It's a double cable with a straight connector.
I could only suggest this be changed to a 90 degree connecter?

I know it's down to components compatibility but damn it's not pretty..
Actually maybe blame gigabyte for the placement? Either way it's horrible even with a liquid cooler.

I have a lian li with usb 3 c header and the cable is a 90 degree. It is fantastic but it was incompatible with the usb c connector on the asrock z370 taichi /gaming because they had the connector the wrong way round.

It has been fine with the asus boards I used and makes everything MUCH neater. When I got the phanteks evolv x and it came with a non 90 degree connector it felt like such a step backwards, but perhaps other board manufacturers turn the connector like Asrock did so using a 90 degree connector is a gamble. I don't know.

As for the non c usb connector you mention i think people use 90 degree or flexi adaptors to overcome the issues there. The cable is just so stiff that it seems to cause issues no matter how the board has the header attched.

rI thought OCUK weren't stocking this case. Make your mind up guys!

We are not listing the product at this time because of a disagreement with Fractal over their pricing strategy for this model. Frankly the P600S from Phanteks would be a better choice anyway.

My problem with the p600s is the fact that the internal space isn't as big as the S2, if the p600s was a little stretched I'd buy one in an instant.

I wouldn't be able to fit a front mounted rad amd my tube res in the front and have enough space to fit my graphics card! :( That's the only reason I'm looking at the S2!

I had that problem with my H440 so bought a smaller tube for the res and fit it between the GPU and top rad.
