if it wasn't for owning the best bike in the world already ;) and the cost, I would actually own this ducati

The 1098 (click for loads of specs and pics)

glad to see they have taken a step backwards in the styling department, more inline with the 748 and 998 of old

The 999 is so ugly

as much as I am a Jap whore bike wise I always roll off and let the Italian boys past Just to hear that twin and racing cans throb past me

obviously then I show them what a bike with real horse power can do :p ;)

Styling wise, nothing comes close the 916/996.
Its a design classic. It beats the 999 hands down.
Saying that, the 888 nearly "pwns" the 916 though ;)

Mmm, 888SPS...dribble...
:)

Does look quite nice, but I'm not sure about it. To me it looks like someone too heavy has sat on it and it's bent a bit. It looks a bit skinny around the seat area and a bit too long and flat. I was expecting it to be more muscular and stubby... And it's just not that Itallian is it...

Then again, forget my opinion, in the metal I think the 999 looks pretty good (except for the stacked lights).
