hey guys
I am a noob to overclocking and would like some advice on my first attempt.
So after reading a few guides and the like, a common theory seemed to be that if you have a black edition cpu (phenom 955 = mine) that all you need to do is raise the multiplier ! So this what i did , up to x18 , and then ran prime 95 for over an hour on blend , no fails. Could anyone tell me if this all seems in order or should i have changed anything else.
This is on asus m4a88td-v evo motherboard , corsair h60. also if i try to go to x19 should i make any other changes? any advice would be welcomed.
