Hi guys,

This is my first ever attempt at designing a loop so please don't beat down on me! I'm doing research at the moment but wanted to get feedback on this and what I need to change etc. Many thanks in advance.Top rad would be a 360 rad with 3x 120mm fans and the front rad is 280 with 2x 140mm fans.

I wouldn't recommend it, the top connection is really for filling the loop up, but it is possible use it if you have another fill point, the only issue with it is it then becomes a mare to bleed as you always get air collecting at the top of the res you can't get rid of which then ends up in your rad when you switch the pump off.

Yeah I'd also recommend not using the top of the tube res for an inflow as you will also get the waterfall sound effect of water entering your res.

Can turn the res upside down. I use a Bitspower tube res so I use the 3 port at the top. The tube inside the res ensures the fluid doesn't get agitated and I fill it there and use the air outlet.

One note I would make is that both your rads have the "in" and "out" at different ends. This means cross-flow radiators I believe, so worth making sure your case can accept the extra length this adds in the places you plan to mount them.

Slate me if this is totally misguided but my second attempt to get my head around a loop..

Something like:

res > pump > rad > GPU > rad > CPU > res
