A noobs PC build.Help needed

Okay so far I have been plugging away all morning, apart from noticing that I got an IDE drive and my mobo doesn't support IDE its all coolio I guess.

Apart from not turning on -_-

Make sure you have the Motherboard and CPU power connectors installed. What happens when you hit the power switch? Do any fans or lights come on?
 
Success, my switches were colour coded, so I put them in the mobo with the corresponding colours, seemed simple enough.

BUT NO THAT WAS WRONG!

Stay tuned. I gotta go buy a new disk drive as my mobo only supports SATA!
