hello, ive got a 3800 x2 on a 939 abit AN8 with 2x1 and 2x512 of 3200 corsair ram, im looking to upgrade these three items and dont know if i should go AMD or Pentium (for the first time in about 7 years).. im working on a budget of about 300. I only really need it for games, and ive got an x1900xt, which i wont be looking to upgrade for a few months. i dont want sli/xfire as its pointless overkill. am running xp. is it worth going to vista for games? or best to hold for a while?
i dont mind waiting a bit, this isnt urgent, and i dont mind paying extra if its really going to make financial sense..
