This looks very similar to the MW228A which is not available for about another 4-8 weeks. Only major difference I can see is this panel has HDMI instead of DVI. Not a major issue as you can still connect a DVI connector to it with an adapter. :)

Looks promising, very much like the LG M228WA, begging the question as to why they notionally have both? Looks like more of a tv, although HDMI is nice.

Whats the panel like/ what panel is in it? I notice it has narrower viewing angles than the LG M228WA. Also not so keen on the styling.

I saw this become available just this morning...

Being one of few owners of the MW series in the UK (at least I believe so) I then proceeded to think "@*#&"

But at least I can be happy that I have a DVI connector :P

However all said and done, I'd buy that one two, and recommend to whom-ever would consider it ;D

Looks a very very nice Screen, just not to sure which one to buy, that one or this one:

The one i linked to looks nicer, but if im right in thinking the base is black as well? Also one of the reviewers saids " Quality TFT. I was a little dissapointed to get the opposite of the picture (as many have). Despite this, the actual panel is top notch." what does he mean by that?

Means instead of the monior being black with a silver stand like in the picture its actually silver with a black stand.

Gibbo can you use the HDMI apdapter on the HD2900XT and plug your graphics card into the monitor that way and use it as your PC monitor?
