I've owned the Cyborg RAT 5 now for a few months, and I've got some issues with it's design/performance.

I've gone back to the company I purchased if from, and they are not willing to give a refund as they are unable to replicate the issue, I don't think they quite understand what's going on, maybe I didn't explain myself very well, I have been more comprehensive.

My first issue is the height of the mouse off the surface it's being used on. When you click a button, the mouse moves a little in what ever direction, it doesn't matter. This causes an issue when using 800+dpi, as your accuracy is somewhat changed and, when playing FPS games (1600 dpi), you are at a disadvantage. As you can imaging, when clicking repetitively, the cursor, moves more so.

Is there a way to heighten the mouse from the surface you are using, as not to encounter this issue? It's very very frustrating and starting to get on my nerves. I've used other mice, Logitech MX Revolution & G500, neither have the same problem. When clicking the mouse button, the cursor is as solid as you'd expect, no movement what so ever.

To say the least, I'm not impressed with the mouse at all.

Can you assist, I'm starting to run out of Ideas and don't find this product suitable.

What the **** do I do, it's just getting annoying now!!!

You could probably find them on google, I doubt they're universal but that RAT 5 has a flat bottom right? You could just use them for a random mouse and stick them where they don't interfere with the sensor

It has a flat bottom, but it's not 100% flat, as there are rubber feet on the bottom already. To be honest, it's a bad design and collects dust like no other mouse I've had.

Basically, when playing MW3 & Dead Island, the mouse has a tendency to move without me prompting it, or if I move a little, it goes nuts. I appreciate it's hard to picture. Another one would be, when I pick the mouse up and place it back down, it moved from one side of the screen to the other.

When clicking rapidly, the mouse will move, no other mouse has done this.

I've done a lot of playing around and since removing the driver, made my the manufacturer, it's much better. It's not perfect, but it's loads better than what it was.

Strange how the official driver causes more problems than it solves. The windows ones are 99% better.
