A problem with Blackberry ID

About 2 months i gave my son my old Blackberry 9300 as i got myself a Bold 9780.
I forgot to wipe it and he started using it straight away with no problems as i have also had no problems using the 9780.

My problem is that this morning i decided to upgrade the BBM and when i signed in to BB ID it stated
"Your BB ID is associated with a different device, would you like to move all information to your new device?"
when i clicked ok, all my sons contacts appeared and the bbm was in my sons name :(
how can i sort this? so my son and i can keep our contacts
 
Get him to register a new BBM ID to his device, you might need to wipe the device completely before it lets you do that. In fact wipe both devices and set them up as new.

Anytime you give a BB phone away, you should always ALWAYS wipe it as it could and will give you issues especially if the new user is trying to set it up.
