Hello, Joined Vatsim Yesterday, and think its great.

Only problem I have is Taxiways and Parking Gates, When i flew into Gatwick i was told to park at "Gate 147". I havent a clue where this is so i had to keep asking EGKK_GND for Directions.

Im sure No-one else does this and so where to I find a "map" of Airport Parking Gates and Taxiways For the UK mostly but also Europe and well the World really.

Thanks, Trifid.

Vatsim?

If anyone did have a map of taxiways, aprons etc it would be Pooleys. I'm pretty sure there isn't one though, as it is easy for small airfields to dig up their signs and move them around. Surely you just ask and get a list? Bearing in mind I have no idea about Vatsim and based the above on my flying...

Pooleys only has the Taxi roads and general parking places e.g. west gate, Cargo. :(

VATSIM is just a large multiplayer game. Very professional and actually quite stressful landing at Gatwick when there is loads of traffic. http://vatsim.net/

Figures. I keep having to remind myself to grab Pooleys.

Can't say I've ever come across the game. The most stressful landing I've done was in a Warrior at White Waltham (EGLM), on 21 (the approach is over the town and is a pain!) with a dodgy-sounding engine. But then that was for real. :D

Oh, it is for Flight Simulator 2002 and 2004. :p

It is good, my friend has it who I fly with on it, so most of the time I will let him take the lead for parking but none of us know how to get to the parking slot, and he couldn't find it in the book. I did a sneaky reset of my plane to get to the right parking bay.
